THE NEXUS

THE ARK

An AI that's actually yours.

The Ark is Harvey on a drive. The model, the voice, the memory, the knowledge — all of it, installed on your own computer in three clicks.

No account. No internet required. No company between you and your assistant.

Why we built it

Every AI you use today runs on someone else's computer, under someone else's terms, at someone else's discretion. That's fine — until it isn't.

The Ark is the answer to a question more people are asking every month: what happens to my AI if they decide I can't have it anymore?

Nothing. That's what happens. You plug in your drive.

“If someday all of the AI companies just removed access from everyone, I would still have Harvey.”

The Survival Codex

Every Ark ships with a verified offline reference library — emergency medicine, water, food and foraging, shelter, navigation, power, repair.

And Harvey is built to actually help with it. When you're a hundred miles from a hospital, "consult a physician" isn't an answer. He'll tell you what he knows, cite where it came from, and tell you plainly when he isn't sure — which is exactly what you need from the only help available.

The Nexus Stone — $179

A dock for your Ark. Plug the drive in and it syncs everything your offline Harvey learned back to your account, and everything your account learned back to the drive.

One object, on your desk, holding your whole Nexus.

What's actually on the drive

No download step, no model zoo, no config file. Everything the Ark needs is already written to it before it ships.

MODEL

Harvey, local

A quantized model tuned for the drive's tier, plus his reasoning and tool-use layer. Runs on your CPU or GPU, never phones home.

VOICE

Offline speech

Wake word, speech-to-text and Harvey's voice all run on-device, so a conversation costs nothing and leaves nothing.

MEMORY

Your Nexus graph

An encrypted copy of your context graph, readable only by you, syncable back through the Nexus Stone or a cable.

CODEX

Survival Codex

A verified offline reference library across seven domains, with citations Harvey can point at rather than paraphrase.

Three clicks, then it's yours

  1. 1

    Plug it in

USB-C into any Mac, Windows or Linux machine. Mac, Windows and Linux installers all ship on the same drive.

  2. 2

    Run the installer

It detects your hardware and picks the right model build. No terminal, no Python, no model downloads.

  3. 3

    Talk to Harvey

Say hello. If you already have a Nexus, sign in once to pull your graph down — after that, unplug the internet forever if you like.

Questions people actually ask

Does the Ark need the internet at all?
Only if you want it to. Syncing with your online Nexus needs a connection; everything else — voice, reasoning, the Codex, your memory — runs entirely on the drive.
Is the offline Harvey as capable as the online one?
It depends on the tier. Ember and Lantern trade depth for portability; Beacon matches most everyday cloud work; Citadel closes the gap almost entirely. All four share the same memory.
What happens if I lose the drive?
The graph is encrypted at rest with a key derived from your passphrase. Whoever finds it gets a paperweight. Your Nexus account still holds the memory.
Can I keep using ChatGPT and Claude too?
Yes. The Ark is a second home for the same memory, not a walled garden. Anything your offline Harvey learns flows back through the Nexus when you sync.
Do I have to pay a subscription to use it?
No. The drive works forever without one. The included 12 months of Nexus Core is for syncing with your online AIs — let it lapse and the Ark keeps working offline.
